So you do something that you are very proud of, and you say, “Look, here’s what I did!”, and the other person says, “Oh yeah? So you think you are special? Guess what, I have some news for you, you are just like everybody else! And you are only happy because you are selfish. If you want to be a good person, you need to COMMISERATE. With ME. Not be happier than ME.”

And you just stand there and think, “What the fuck just happened?”
