Does anybody realize that people who in all seriousness think about America in terms of an ‘ancient’ battle between Christianity and Islam are (in great need of reading up on history of this land, but besides that) of the same psychological type as those who supported burning local and foreign witches and massacring local and foreign pagan babies? Or those who thought that Muslims and Jews were to blame for poverty of common people in Europe? Or those who behead infidels today in the name of God knows what?
